Linkstar Reviews

Hey people, Shyruni here!

In case you are wondering, I just got back from a one-week vacation, which is why I did not post last week.

Also, this week, I am not posting a comic either. Today starts the beginning of Linkstar Reviews!

To celebrate the beginning of Linkstar Reviews, I will review the game which could possibly be the best game in the entire world, Ocarina of Time.

In my Guides, I will look at different logical aspects of the game, and give them either a + (good), a / (okay), or a - (bad).

Linstar Reviews: #1 Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time

Ocarina of Time is considered the REAL beginning to the Legend of Zelda series, and one of the best games in existence. When it first came out, it was a HUGE hit. Anybody with a 64 had this game. You almost had to play it. Now days, it's no different. People would buy the game just for the experience of playing it.

Gameplay: +
The gameplay is phenominal! This was basically the first 3D game that states that RPGs (role playing games) were not restricted to turn-based fighting. Riding a horse, playing target games, killing monsters for fun, there is so much you can do! You can play the game over and over again and still not get tired of it. Not only that, there are multiple secrets and challenges for those who want to go the extra mile!

Storyline: +
Link, the silent warrior. Zelda, the captured princess. Ganondorf the lord of darkness. The game follows the usual princess rescue routine. Or so it may seem. In truth, it's a story about an evil man attempting to rule the world with the powers of darkness, and a hero who must save the world from impending doom by the help of a princess. Behind the partially bad graphics is an intense story that keeps gamers from shutting off the game.

Graphics: /
Sadly, the graphics don't do the game justice. Though the graphics were amazing in it's time, that's not the case now. Though they have transfered the game to multiple new systems, they only enhanced the graphics once for the 3DS, the worst possible system to put it on. But don't ditch the game because of the graphics! The graphics aren't too bad, and there's an amazing game behind them.

Music: +
All of the music in this game sounds completely realistic. The music is very classic, and is completely composted of instruments, with no computerized sounds or auto-tune stuff. You will find yourself humming to the tune of the music without realizing it.

Overall: +
To be truthfull, I really didn't need to explain each part for this game. Chances are you probably have it anyway. If you don't, buy it, rent it, get it any way you can. Though this may not be a great game for you, at least play it so you can say you did.
