REQUIREMENTS FOR AUTHOR STATUS
- You MUST post twice a month unless valid reasons can be provided for your hiatus.
- Your posts MUST be rated PG at most
- Try to have at least one but at most three stories "going"
Please remember that the Authors' Zone aims to stay in the PG rating.We will NOT consider anything containing vile language, sexual content or excessively "grimdark." This means:
- No swearing. Some exceptions may be made if the word is entirely covered, every time. (example: **** rather than d***)
-Stay away from meaningless gore, generally known as "grimdark". Fight scenes are all right (as seen in Achilles' Unending Battle)
WHAT IS CONSIDERED GRIMDARK:
Anything excessively gory such as: Characters violently cutting each other up, death and despair for the sake of enjoyment with no hope, and (often times) insane rage, depression or fear.)
- Little to no (preferably the latter.) sexual innuendos. It's true, we all know the person or character who takes everything wrong, twists what you say, and cracks awkward jokes. that doesn't make it okay.
